Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. You can view Gravatar’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website (e.g., as part of a post or profile), avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

User Accounts & Registration
When you register on VibeCentral, we store the personal information you provide (such as your display name, bio, and links).
This data is stored securely and used only to manage your user profile, content submissions, and participation in community features.
All users can edit or delete their own profile information at any time (except usernames). Website administrators can also view and manage user data.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security.
Certain services (e.g., spam detection, hosting analytics) may temporarily access data for legitimate operational reasons.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to help us recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.
For registered users, we store your profile data indefinitely unless you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an export of the personal data we hold about you.
You may also request the erasure of your data, excluding any we’re required to retain for legal, administrative, or security purposes.

Comments and form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service such as Akismet or reCAPTCHA.
